Renditions Golf Club Wedding – Nina K Photography

It was a beautiful day for Cari & Mark to celebrate their wedding. They had their first look at Cari’s parents house. The weather was just perfect for an October outdoor ceremony and Renditions golf course had some beautiful spots for photos.  These two have awesome families and everyone had a great day, even despite the Redskins/Eagles situation 🙂 They both radiated happiness all day!

Rye Street Tavern- Baltimore Wedding Photography – Nina K Photography

This wedding was so special for me to be a part of as I have known Lauren for a long time. We met when we worked together at a Baltimore TV station and have been friends ever since!  Lauren has always had an awesome fashion sense and this wedding attire did not disappoint! She came out in a stunning GOLD dress and was absolutely radiant all night long. Chris didn’t look bad either 😉

This couple is all Baltimore! The day began at the Sagamore Pendry (awesome) and continued at Rye Street Tavern – all in the heart of Baltimore. Everything was beautiful. The end of the night went out with a bang as Lauren came out in a sequin jumpsuit that showed off her perfectly toned..everything!  Here’s to many more years of fun, Lauren and Chris!!

Two Cute Pups | Maryland Pet Photographer

I photograph a lot of people…adults, children, families, weddings, newborns…and pets.  They are all a lot of fun, but not all of them can pay attention or remember to look at the camera (particularly the toddlers and the pets, haha!)

When Jamie brought her dogs, Belle and Bentley, to the shoot, I was so excited because I love animals. These dogs were the best listeners.  They looked RIGHT at the camera every time. They weren’t nervous, or fidgety.  They were just adorable and their eyes are fantastic! This was seriously one of the easiest sessions I’ve had…with or without pets!

“We have two dogs: a wild-boar, dapple dachshund, named Bentley, and a Chiweenie(Chihuahua/Dachshund) named Belle. They definitely got Bentley’s breed right when they said wild boar because he is definitely our wild child. Belle, on the other hand, is our mellow fur baby so we’ve got a good mix of personality for sure! Stephen gave me Bentley for our second wedding anniversary…best present ever!!! We rescued Belle while visiting with my uncle for Thanksgiving in Fall 2016. We heard about a little puppy that had been abandoned in a trailer and of course I had to investigate. About an hour later, I was driving away with my sweet little Belle. Stephen keeps telling me we better own a farm one day because he knows I’m going to keep coming home with stray pets. A farm full of dogs sounds like absolute heaven to me! Dogs are just the best! “If the kindest of souls were rewarded the longest of lives, dogs would outlive us all.” I absolutely love this quote. Dogs are the most selfless, loving creatures on the planet. Life would be so boring and sad without dogs. We just recently moved to Florida from Maryland where Stephen was stationed in the Army. Stephen traveled a lot while in Maryland, so Bentley and Belle were great companions for me in that time. Bentley and Belle are loving the Florida sunshine and so are we! Stephen and I have been happily married for a little over 3 years now. We have known each other since grade school, so we enjoyed a long friendship before we finally decided to tie the knot. We are both from a tiny town in south Alabama, so we are so blessed to live closer to family where we are now. Life is good!”

Ocean City Portraits | Ocean City Photographer | Nina K Photography

Right now in Maryland it is March…and it is snowing. I mean I am looking out my window at about 7 inches of freezing. cold. snow.

SO since I am sitting here dreaming of the beach days, I decided I would blog one of my favorite sessions from the beach this past summer.

I knew Katie way back in elementary school. I haven’t seen her since then, but thanks to Facebook we reconnected and she asked me to take her family’s photos. It is really cool to see someone after so long and see the great life they have created, kids, husband, and all.

Nags Head Wedding | North Carolina Wedding Photography | Nina K Photography

You know those couples that when you get their wedding invitation in the mail, you just know it’s going to be a blast? Well that is Anne & Jeremy.

They are long time friends of mine, and when they asked me to photograph their wedding in Nags Head, NC, I was so excited. I had never been there but I have heard so many people rave about how beautiful and relaxing it is…and they are right!

The coast is lined in huge houses that big groups of people and families rent. There aren’t tons of restaurants and things to do, because you are just supposed to relax and enjoy your time. It’s awesome.

Anne & Jeremy have great families who know how to have fun, so the weekend was a party to say the least!

It was taking place in October, so there was a chance it would still be a little chilly….but nope…it was about 80 degrees on the day of the wedding. Sunny and perfect…so perfect that there were many people laying out in the sun right behind the wedding ceremony that was happening in the sand! I had to ask some of them to relocate…haha!

Anne had a beautiful house on the water where she got ready. Her family all there to help, along with her closest girlfriends. Her dress hung in a window with a perfect view and all of the beachy details surrounded.

Jeremy was a few doors down getting ready in a house with his family and his soon to be step-son Owen. Owen was so proud to be at his mom’s wedding…and if you need proof, just check out the picture of his “first look” of his mom in her dress. My heart melts.

They took off to the ceremony in an old, fancy car that was too cool for school.

The reception was at a beautiful venue on the water, Jeanette’s Pier. The pier had a special meaning to Anne & Jeremy so we made sure to end the night with a kiss under the sign.

It was such a fun night and everyone was so happy. Pictures speak louder than words…check them out! Oh, and if you want to get married in NC…let me know!!!!
